Dr Andrei Cornoiu is an Australian Trained Orthopaedic Surgeon who is subspecialised, and Fellowship trained in Foot and Ankle surgery. While his main consulting rooms are located in Blackburn South (corner Canterbury and Blackburn Roads), Dr Cornoiu also consults in Bundoora at Northpark Private Hospital, Heidelberg Heights, and Doncaster East. Dr Cornoiu operates at Waverley Private Hospital, Mitcham Private Hospital, Warringal Private Hospital, Latrobe Private Hospital and Epworth Private Hospital Richmond.

Dr Cornoiu is published in surgical informed consent, has presented in foot and ankle surgery at local and national/international conferences and has completed a post-graduate Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Melbourne in informed consent. 

His practice is experienced in managing ALL foot and ankle conditions in teenagers and adults. This includes chronic conditions such as foot and ankle arthritis, Morton’s neuromas, Hallux valgus, hammer toes, tendonitis, and plantar fasciitis as well as acute injuries to the ankle such at ATFL tears, tendon ruptures, foot and ankle fractures and stress injuries. Dr Cornoiu works closely with Melbourne Orthotics to provide patients with the best possible care in relation to bracing, insoles and other non-operative treatments. He has orthotists on site who can fit CAM boots and ankle braces.

He sees insured patient as well as uninsured patients, DVA, Workcover and TAC patients as he believes that everyone is deserving of the best care possible regardless of insurance status.
